Short ribbons

The medal for the chest is a medal with a short ribbon. A badge has been attached to the ribbon with which the medal can be pinned on the chest. These short ribbons for the chest are also sometimes called 'small model medals' or 'miniatures'. On special occasions the chest medal is worn on the left chest. At many walking events the medal for the chest is the standard.
