The chest medal is a medal with a short ribbon, called ‘ribbon bar’, ‘medal ribbon’ or ‘service ribbon’. A badge has been attached to the ribbon with which the medal can be pinned on the chest. On special occasions the chest medal is worn, usually defined and regulated in official documents called ‘the order of precedence’ or ‘the order of wearing’.
Walking events and chest medals
At many walking events the chest medal is the standard reward for participants. Walking clubs and hiking associations reward the participants for their walking tours with a chest medal. A nice finale of the walking march! Also after four days marches, participants are often rewarded with a breast medal. Beautiful custom made chest medals contribute in this way to an extra festive finish. Finally, we often create virtual walking medals in this way. Let's design your award medals now!
