Almost 25.000 people were at the start of the NN Zevenheuvelenloop, NN Zevenheuvelennacht and NN Mini Zevenheuvelenloop. Stichting Zevenheuvelenloop distinguishes itself by organizing its events in the most sustainable way possible. They therefore look at each edition to see in which areas further steps can be taken. This year, for instance, they opted for a medal made of wood fiber.

The wood fiber medal is made from 100% natural products. The mixture of wood fibers and resin ensures that these medals are biodegradable. The wood pulp comes from wood waste from the timber industry and is PEFC certified. The neck ribbon is made of R-PET. With a 2-sided full colour imprint and a full colour ribbon, the medal is fully branded in Zevenheuvelenloop style.

At the Tour for Life, participants cycle from Italy to the Netherlands in eight days. As a participant you cycle for successful cancer research by the Daniel den Hoed Fund. A minimum sponsorship amount is therefore attached to participation. A unique medal is a fitting souvenir for this spectacular tour for charity. This year, the organization chose a wooden medal with laser engraving.

The wooden medal for the Tour for Life has a diameter of 90 mm and is shaped like a gear wheel. On the front, the route of the event is lasered. The overall design gives the medal a unique look.
